Khotso Motsoeneng was born on the year 1993 in the Free State Province. He received a National Diploma in Photography from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2017. Khotso is currently based in Johannesburg where he works as a freelance Photographer; he also makes use Painting and Print-making to communicate his narratives. Khotso placed in the top 100 of the Thami Mnyele fine art Awards in 2017. In 2018 Khotso was part of the Artist Career Boot Camp which concluded with a group exhibition at the Bag Factory Artist Studios, while busy with the Boot Camp he also assisted Celina Portella an artist who was on residence from Brazil for her exhibition called “What Knot not” at Bag Factory and he also took part in workshops that were made possible by the residency artist at
the Bag Factory Artist Studios. Khotso also assisted Christopher Saunders in the year 2015; they worked on projects such as the Shout SA video and a music video for a
collaboration between Oksharp and Manthe Ribane’s first Music Album.
