Proposal:
In all of my pattern work, the focal is the use of geometric shapes and colour. What I attempt to do with my work is to mirror naturally occurring patterns or depict abstract concepts.
Biography:
I’m Keamogetsoe “Kea” Hlungwani, a 23-year-old pattern artist from Soweto. I hated Arts at school probably because of how it was taught to me, but during my matric year, I began to take interest in different forms of art. I have been a pattern artist since 2017, although I do not have formal training my growth as an artist is visible.
