Proposal:
The vision for this year’s show would be a hung exhibition of each of the students’ artworks for sale, as well as a workshop space run by jan and Lebo. The workshops will be focused on etchings and linocuts – with all the materials provided by Edition Vary. The idea is for visitors to take this unique opportunity to sit down, have fun, and create their very own piece of art that they can take home.
Teaching the public about Printmaking is a passion shared by all at Edition Vary.
Biography:
Edition Vary is a Printing Studio based out of Parkhurst Recreational Center. Run by Printmakers Janjan Tshikhuthula and Lebohang Sithole, the studio provides a platform for artists to learn about the various methods of printmaking.
This year, Edition Vary, would like to showcase their talented portfolio of artists at Joburg Fringe.
