Proposal:
I want to exhibit my installation titled Personal portable water-recycling unit, see photo below, as well as a group of watercolours.
Personal portable water-recycling unit is self-explanatory in times where water has become a commodity that no matter how precious, is still taken for granted and worse, abused. Even before we begin relocating to Mars we have reached the point in this very country where individuals plan – not unlike the Bushmen – to collect water where we find it. I want my installation to work like a fire-hydrant does: warning that fire could happen any moment – be prepared! Soon the Personal portable water recycling unit will belong to each of our everyday outfit.

1961 born in Johannesburg, Bachelor of Fine Arts at University Stellenbosch, post graduate Diploma at Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich. Lives and works in Berlin and Joburg.
